Homemade Chocolate Candy Cookies Recipe
There is something that is just fun when it comes to putting colorful candies in your cookies to make the chocolate candy cookies. They are bright and kids are drawn to them more than an average chocolate chip cookie. As we know the taste isn't any different, but kids love the bright colors that make these cookies just plain exciting.
Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup salted butter softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 ½ cups flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups M&M's
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- In a large mixing bowl, use a hand or stand mixer to mix together the brown sugar, sugar, and butter.
- Mix in your eggs on low.
- Now mix in your flour and baking soda
- Scoop out your cookie dough with a tablespoon, roll into small balls, and place on your baking pan
- Press about 4-5 M&M's on top of each cookie dough ball.
- Bake for 10 minutes, let cool, and enjoy!
