Autumn Apple Cider Donut Bundt Cake
One of my favorite autumn scents is that of an apple cider donut. So it would only make sense that the flavors of apple cider would be enjoyable in the form of a dessert. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do.

Every year for the past five or so we have gotten together at my sister and brother-in-law’s house for apple pressing day. They have an apple orchard in their side yard with many different kinds of apples. So we get together and pick the apples, then everyone takes turns helping (mainly the guys and the great-grandkids). This is because we are enjoying getting snacks and I am taking photos.
We have 3 different kinds of chili which consist of White Chicken Chili, Spicy Chili, and your every day flavored chili. Also on the table are different slices of bread, crackers, and of course apples & caramel dip. It makes for a perfect day as a family gathering and we all go home with apple cider that has been pressed by the family. This year I will be adding this Autumn Apple Cider Donut Cake to the desserts as well.

What is the Difference Between Apple Cider and Apple Juice?
Apple cider is made from apples that are washed, cut, and ground (pressed) into an “apple mash” similar to applesauce. The mash is then wrapped in cloth and pressed into fresh juice. You can freeze both. But apple cider will settle to the bottom of a frozen gallon, so you will want to make sure you shake it well before drinking. Also, apple cider can become “fermented” if it is left too long in the fridge. So be aware as you do not want to offer your child apple cider that has turned as it could make them sick. Also if your apple cider is “fizzy” and you haven’t added any “sprite” to it. Then it isn’t good to drink either.
Whereas apple juice undergoes filtration to remove pulp and is then pasteurized to extend the shelf life. Vacuum sealing and additional filtering help it stay fresh even longer. You can store apple juice in the cupboard for many months without any issue.
